Alta Forma is a curated project space for artists working in expanded jewellery and object based practices.

Alta Forma supports artists to create experimental and socially engaged projects. The Alta Forma exhibition program is curated by Meredith Turnbull and guest artists/curators.

Alta Forma Director Dr Meredith Turnbull is a Naarm/Melbourne based artist, curator and writer. She has over 20 years experience in higher education and managerial and curatorial roles at some of Naarm/Melbourne’s most significant public and institutional spaces including the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (ACCA); the Fiona and Sidney Myer Gallery at the Victorian College of the Arts; and Monash University Museum of Art (MUMA). Meredith has exhibited and curated exhibitions nationally and internationally and developed major projects in Australia for Ian Potter Museum of Art, Melbourne University, the Centre for Contemporary Photography, the National Gallery of Victoria and Heide Museum of Modern Art.
